Personal Attack Zone

Another zone which is incorporated into all control panels is a personal attack zone. As the name suggests this is an emergency zone and is operational on a 24 hr basis. Breaking the P.A. Loop will give a full activation in both the “off” and “on” position. There is distinct difference, however, between this zone and the 24 hr anti-tamper zone. Firstly, the P.A. Zone is a positive loop where as the tamper zone is negative. Secondly, the P.A. Zone gives: a full activation on the off position where as the tamper zone gives only a partial activation.

Generally only one type of detector is connected to this zone and that is a personal attack button. (See “detection devices/personal attack buttons).
